While waiting for a metatarsal problem to heal, I would like to borrow or buy a recumbent bike for some exercise. It doesn't seem to hurt when I exercise this way. Does anyone have an extra one in the garage that they are not using and would like to loan to me or sell to me?

HFN Furlougher Needs a Car :)
Jonathan (one of our field staff in SE Asia) is coming back to Austin on furlough in November and is needing some wheels while he is in town. If any of you have a vehicle that he could borrow for all or part of his time here (Nov 23-Mar 3rd) it would be a huge blessing to him. If you get a reward for just giving a disciple a cup of cold water just think of how big your reward will be for lending out your car! The ideal vehicle would seat 4.
If you are able to help in this way, please contact Matt Sherrod at matthewsherrod@gmail.com or 512-426-6126.

Visually impared, soon to be single mother, needs assistance
Good afternoon Church Family,
Yesterday my wife and I were at the refugee community apartment complex we are ministering to. While there we had the opportunity to meet a young woman who is expecting a child in February. She is currently living in a home for women, but will be moving into the complex this coming Tuesday. She also happens to be visually impared. We were introduced to her by one of the residents who thought we could help her out. She came to us because, she has nothing other than some clothes to bring with her on her trek for independence and stability. We are seeking any help in providing her with some essentials for her residence. She has no furniture, kitchen supplies, decorations... she has nothing. Anything you would be willing to help with would bless her greatly. If you are interested please contact David or Bethany Allen @ daveka73@aol.com or bellaitaliano82@yahoo.com.
Bless you family!

Needed: Girls Jackets
Rather than spending a ton of money on new jackets for our daughter, I thought, “Hey! Ask the Body! Maybe there’s someone out there who needs to get rid of some jackets!” So, if anyone out there has lightweight jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts for a 9 year old girl (size M or size 7) that you want to get rid of, we’d love to take them off your hands! Just email me at dmdevereaux@austin.rr.com, and I’ll come by and pick them up.
Thanks so much!
Melanie Devereaux

Join the Fight Against Childhood Cancer
Thomas Molina is a 13-year old boy who is waging a heroic fight against cancer. He and his family are our neighbors and new-found friends. We’re doing all we can to join him in this fight, and especially believing for God to heal him! They recently determined that he is going to need a bone marrow transplant.
Please join our community-wide effort to support the Molina family in raising awareness about childhood cancer and to find a match for their son, Thomas. In honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, there is no charge to register and all it takes is a mouth swab and a small amount of time. If you are not a match for Thomas, you could be a match for another child in need. And, you might be surprised to know that if you choose to become a donor, the donation process is often a simple blood draw and not a surgical procedure (please visit the National Marrow Donor Program website for more detailed information: www.bethematch.org). Thomas was first diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 3 and after years of chemotherapy he relapsed in 2007 at the age of 11, and has been in chemotherapy ever since. His family just learned 2 weeks ago that he has relapsed again, this time in his central nervous system. Instead of being able to go to school and hang out with his friends, he’s undergoing chemotherapy and needs a bone marrow transplant. Thomas is ready to fight and this is an opportunity for all of us to join him.
For more information about Thomas, please visit his website: www.carepages.com/carepages/thomasmolina

Piano Tuning
Name: Josh Ello Email: joshuaello@gmail.com
I am now trained to tune pianos and available for hire. I am building my professional experience, so my current rates are low & affordable. I charge $70 for tuning and $30 for a pitch raise. Most pianos need a pitch raise, tuning the piano twice, if they haven't been tuned for more than six months. Call me if you would love for your piano to sound beautiful again!

Offering Childcare
Posted by Julie Hellickson email at:wildfloweress@hotmail.com
Hey there! I'm Julie Hellickson, wife to James, mom to Kade & baby-on-the-way! I'm looking for a little extra income and would like to offer occasional childcare in your home. I will be bringing Kade (17-months old) with me but we don't mind babysitting after bedtimes.
I have a long history of childcare experience and am very capable of juggling multiple children's needs. Even you families with a million kids - newborns included! I am Infant/Child/Adult CPR trained, have a Montessori background, a non-smoker, have my own transportation, will easily pass a background check, and I can offer a resume and references upon request.
I charge $10/hr, will happily do housekeeping that is generated by my time in your home (toys/dishes/laundry)) and of course will prepare meals and snacks for the kiddos. I'm available many weekends (not including Sunday mornings!), all day/evenings Mondays and Wednesdays, and Friday mornings until 2:00pm.
So go ahead and plan a date night! Or start making your holiday party plans! Or give yourself a Mom's/Dad's Day Out! Or attend that class at church! You can contact me at wildfloweress@hotmail.com or by phone: 809-3145. Thanks!

City Transformation Through Unceasing Prayer
Prayer for Austin in 2009! Beginning NOW!
Many words have been spoken by Christian leaders around the world recently about Austin being the next transformational city, where revival will break out and Jesus will be glorified. This will happen as believers in Austin unite to lift up unceasing prayer for the city. HITC is joining 31 other churches in Austin to cover the city in prayer 24/7. Our day to pray each month is the fourth Thursday (beginning Jan. 22). Sign up for your time to pray at the Connection Center. Do it here, Lord! See www.austinprays.org.
